The Laurelless Process

How We Take You from Concept to Completion—Without the Stress

Concierge Contracting: A Smarter Way to Remodel

Most contractors expect you to do half the work before they even show up—picking materials, hiring designers, coordinating timelines, and troubleshooting problems. Not here.

At Laurelless, we take responsibility for every single detail—from design to material selection to construction—so you don’t have to. No running to supplier showrooms. No dealing with vendor mix-ups. No unexpected costs. Just a streamlined, seamless process that delivers exactly what you envisioned.

How Our Process Works

Step 1.

The Initial Consultation (30-minute call)

Before we step foot in your home, we vet every project to ensure a great fit. This isn’t just about the work—we want to make sure we align on budget, timeline, and expectations before moving forward.

We discuss:

  • What you want to remodel
  • Your vision and goals
  • A rough budget (to confirm expectations match reality)
  • Your timeline and project scope
  • Whether our full-service approach aligns with your needs

If we both agree it’s a great fit, we move forward.

Why this matters: We don’t waste your time (or ours) with unrealistic expectations or mismatched projects.

Step 2.

Home Visit + Preliminary Scope of Work

Once we confirm the basics, we visit your home.

  • We assess your space
  • We confirm feasibility
  • We gather measurements and begin outlining a conceptual floor plan

This is not a full-blown design yet—but enough to define the scope and create a preliminary estimate.

Why this matters: Homeowners often want clarity before making decisions—which we completely understand. While we don’t offer full design plans at this stage, we gather enough details to confirm feasibility, alignment, and direction. This helps ensure we’re all on the same page before moving forward with confidence.

Step 3.

Estimate Approval

Once we establish a preliminary scope of work, we provide an estimated cost for your remodel.

We discuss:

  • Includes labor, materials, design, project management
  • Sets clear expectations for final project cost
  • No surprises later—we don’t believe in hidden costs or excessive change orders

Why this matters: Other contractors give low bids and hit you with change orders later. We price everything upfront—so what you see is what you pay.

Step 4.

Design + Material Selection (30-day process after contract signing)

Once you approve the estimate, we deep dive into the details.

  • Detailed design phase begins
  • 3D renderings, elevation drawings, and refined floor plans
  • Curated material selections—without showroom overwhelm
  • You get a streamlined selection process: Instead of dragging you to a dozen tile stores, we present you with a few refined choices that match your vision.

Why this matters: Most homeowners don’t realize that hiring a designer alone costs thousands—and you still have to coordinate everything yourself. With Laurelless, design, selection, and construction all happen under one roof.

Step 5.

Construction Begins

With the design finalized and materials selected, we begin the build.

  • Clear project timeline set from day one
  • Dedicated project manager oversees everything
  • Minimal disruption—we fit into your life, not the other way around

Why this matters: We don’t start work until every decision is made, every material is ordered, and every plan is finalized. That means no delays, no change-order nightmares, and no scrambling to make last-minute choices.
